Tyresure offer a range of professional courses designed to support your business with training to suit personnel working in any role involving TPMS. All of Tyresure’s training courses are made to provide in-depth TPMS education for businesses either currently working with (or with an interest in) TPMS, and are held in Tyresure’s new training facility at their head office in Whetstone, Leicestershire (UK).

All of Tyresure’s training courses are designed to educate businesses about TPMS in a more personal setting, allowing participants to ask questions and learn directly from industry professionals – helping sales teams to increase their understanding of the products they sell, as well as giving servicing centres and tyre bays the information they need to work safely with TPMS.

IMI-Accredited TPMS Training

The first of its kind to be accredited by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) in the UK, this training provides a comprehensive overview of TPMS and is our most in-depth course.

Covering a broad range of TPMS-related topics, this course is held in full-day sessions within small groups, and involves both theoretical and practical learning methods. Participants will gain hands-on experience fitting and removing sensors, as well as servicing valves in a workshop environment, and will receive an IMI certificate upon completion.

Training topics include:

  • A general introduction to TPMS including Direct vs. Indirect systems
  • TPMS warning lights, highline and lowline systems
  • Different sensor types – OE and Aftermarket
  • The importance of servicing valves, and how to service correctly
  • Relearn procedures, and the differences between the types available
  • Best practices for fitting, removing and re-programming sensors
  • Diagnostic and Workshop tools
  • Steps and guidelines for how to work with TPMS as a business (and increase profits)

Course length: Full-day, with breaks and a complimentary lunch included.

Price: £295pp

Prior experience fitting and removing tyres would be beneficial, but is not required.

TPMS Sales Support

For sales personnel, Tyresure’s TPMS Sales Support course provides an introduction to TPMS and offers advice for how best to present commercial opportunities to customers. As part of this course, participants will gain an insight into the technical side of TPMS, learning its benefits and the main selling points – including how this can create profit for businesses, with tips for effectively increasing sales.

Training topics include:

  • A general introduction to TPMS - why it is necessary and the laws behind it
  • OE and Aftermarket sensors – the differences, which to choose and when
  • The importance of servicing and how this creates profit
  • Vehicle systems and relearns
  • Diagnostic and Workshop tools
  • Best practice guidelines for how to work with TPMS as a business (and increase profits)

TPMS Workshop Support

Tyresure’s TPMS Workshop Support course is aimed towards garages and tyre bays who would like their staff to feel more confident dealing with TPMS in day-to-day situations. Designed specifically for Tyre Fitters and any personnel handling sensors in a workshop environment, this course covers the basics of TPMS, but also has a large practical element - giving participants confidence in dealing with both the vehicle and its owner wherever TPMS is involved.

Training topics include:

  • A general introduction to TPMS
  • Vehicle systems and relearns
  • Different sensor types – OE and Aftermarket
  • The importance of servicing valves, and how to service correctly
  • Diagnostic and Workshop tools
