New software released for all ATEQ diagnostic tools

A new software update for all ATEQ devices has been released, including updates for: VT56, VT55, VT46, and VT36. The update includes new OE coverage, improved programmable sensor coverage, as well as new functionalities and corrections. Customers are advised to update their diagnostic tools at their earliest convenience.

New versions now available:

  • VT36 version Hx1-12-0x
  • VT46 version Jx2-09-0x
  • VT56 version Dx1-22-xx
  • VT55 version Cx2-22-0x

Improvements and fixes:

  • All tools: Bug fixing
  • VT36 and VT46: Keyfob testing has been improved
  • VT46: Pressing “C” for a long time brings back to the main menu. Same as the VT56.
  • VT46: Toyota Unlock ECU button has been added. Same as the VT56.
  • VT56: Dual relearn function added. Enabled for the following Dual Rear Wheel models: Chevrolet Silverado, Ford F-series Super Duty, GMC Sierra, and RAM trucks.
  • VT56: Tool menu interface is now compatible with Asian languages, including: Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. These languages will be implemented progressively until the end 2017.
  • VT56: Wifi function is now more user-friendly. This function is still labelled as “BETA” even though ATEQ has extensively tested it. The reason behind this “Beta” label is to let customers detect issues with more “exotic” Wifi networks. Once ATEQ feels that all scenarios have been tested and function properly, then the “Beta” label will be removed.
  • VT56: Slight increase of LF Power for some OE sensors.
